DESCRIPTION:Special Invitation to Westmont Chamber Members\nWestmont has formed a wonderful Sister City relationship with Hsinchu County in Taiwan. This relationship has created opportunities for a student exchange program and many cultural exchange activities. Westmont has also been home to the Taiwan Cultural Center since 1989 (55 East 63rd Street). To celebrate this long-standing relationship and Taiwan National Day (Double Ten Day)\, you are invited to be a guest of the Westmont Chamber of Commerce to a very special presentation\, the Sound of Taiwan. \n\n \n\nThe Sound of Taiwan performance is being held on Sunday September 3rd at the Westmont High School Auditorium. This presentation is a part of the Taiwanese Culture Goodwill Mission and is being sponsored in-part by our Sister Chamber of Commerce\, the Taiwanese American Chamber of Commerce and Greater Chicago (TACCGC) and the Overseas Community Affairs Council of Taiwan. The Westmont Chamber of Commerce is offering our Members (Family and Staff) comp tickets to attend the performance. In addition\, a very special "Thank You" to Westmont Community Unit School District 201 and the Village of Westmont for their help and support of this community-wide event.\n\n \n\nHere in an overview of the event details:\n\n \n\nDate and Time: Sunday\, September 3rd\, doors will open at 5:30pm and the program will begin at 6:00pm. The performance is 90 minutes and will include a brief intermission. \n\n \n\nLocation: Westmont High School Auditorium at 909 Oakwood Drive\, Westmont\, Il 60559.
