Downers Grove Township (DGT):\nKaren Spencer\, Senior Service Coordinator-Karen's primary role is outreach\, social services\, and programing for the DGT Senior's.\n\nKaren updated the SRC on the different benefits of the DGT such as DuPage Sr. Citizen Council\, Meals on Wheels (Community Dining to begin at the DGT Center on September 13\, 2022)\n\nKaren is developing a robust program for the DGT Senior Center which includes computer training class(PRC)\, Senior Survival series sponsored by FFDGTS and classes through partnerships with libraries and park districts. \n\nThe SRC Committee was invited to attend the DGT SAC committee meeting on September 12\, 2022 from 1:30-3:00\n\n \nB. Dementia Friendly Westmont:\nMary Ferguson: Mary spoke on several aspects of having a Dementia Friendly Westmont such as Library Presentations\, Citizens Police Academy\, November is Illinois Dementia friendly month\, creating a sub-committee of the chamber for Dementia Friendly Community and marketing via brochures for the village\n\n \n\nC.
