Congdon\, Au D.\, Mark Davis\, Karen Spencer\, Karen(Bria)\, Dan Rattary\, Karin Knudsen\,\n\n \n\nCall to order: 8:04 a.m.\n\n \n\nIntroductions were made by the attendees. \n\n \n\nMotion to approve the February 3\, 2023 meeting minutes by Nancy Congdon\, Au D\, second by Julianne Rizzo\, All approved.\n\n \n\nNew Business Discussed:\n\n \n\nSenior Expo on May 4th from 5pm-7pm at Westmont Park District\n\nSenior Expo on May 5th from 8:30-11 at Westmont Park District\n\nAdditional details were discussed by the group. The expo can be set up beginning at 3:00 on Thursday\, 5/4. Mark Davis will review 2022 exhibitors and compile a list to send to the group\, non-member organizations were discussed to invite to the expo. \n\n \n\nBusiness After Hours March 8 from 5-6:30 at Downers Grove Township Senior Center\n\nRegistered attendees current 45\, anticipating and preparing for 60 attendees\n\nMary Ferguson reviewed the food list with the group. Additional members will bring more food. There was further discussion about the room and agenda for the evening.\n\n \n\nThe following members volunteered to contribute to the event: Mike Hensley=appetizers\, Birches=appetizers\, Shelly=sweets\, Gaye=sparkling water\, Mark=mini sandwiches\, Alison Clemens=pizza. DGT will provide the paper products.\n\nMembers will bring items to raffle or to put in a raffle basket. They can be dropped with Karen Spencer at the next meeting on March 3 or the Downers Grove Township.\n\nThere will be a table to display member business information. \n\n \n\nDementia Friendly Westmont- Mary Ferguson\n\nMemory Caf 's and Caregiver support groups continue to form in Westmont\n\nThere may be opportunities for businesses to sponsor activities for Dementia Friendly\n\nThere is a dementia meeting next week. Mary will invite Susan Frick to the Senior Expo\n\n \n\nOld Business: Larry Forssberg gave an update on Chamber business and events.\n\nWestmont Chamber Open House 2/15 at the Westmont Center from 5-6:30.
