She got into this business after having to negotiate helping her parents when they got older and needed help. She felt the process was confusing\, overwhelming but also cutthroat. She wanted to help people in a better way. She is a problem solver and is a placement specialist. Her fees are not paid by her clients but rather by the facility where they move to. Mary and Terri both had very good things to say about Julianne and how she handles the process of placing a loved one in a facility.\n\n\n\nSENIOR EXPO COMMITTEE- Dan Rattary\, Mary Ferguson\, Mark Davis\n\nThey have been meeting to organize the expo. They have reached out to Rep Mazzochi but haven't heard back yet. The Expo will be Friday May 6th 8:30-12:30 at the Westmont Park District. They have a list of 20 potential exhibitors. There will be 5 presentations\, each 15 minutes long\, with Q & A after. The list of presenters is: Fire Dept- home safety\, Aspired Living-Parkinson's\, Terra Vista-Dementia 101\, Seniors Helping Seniors-Home help\, Independence for Seniors- diabetes. Dan is requesting presenters send him your presentation slides ahead of the expo.\n\nFlyers and posters are done. Please take some to display in your office. Please get an electronic copy and post it on all of your social media accounts and website.\n\nAlice has gotten the Secretary of State Mobile Unit to be onsite for expo.\n\nAlice also has the park district's senior art group scheduled to display their works.\n\nAll vendors are requested to have a raffle prize\n\nMary will be sending out request for someone to bring balloons\, plastic table clothes\, pre-packaged snacks\n\nMark will be sending out an exhibit form for all to fill out with pertinent information. Please fill out and return to Mark directly.
