DESCRIPTION:The Downtown Westmont Business Committee (DWBC) is a committee of the Westmont Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau\, which serves as a resource group to plan events that promote Downtown Westmont and serves as the voice of the Downtown Westmont Business Community.\n\nCommittee Chair: Dr. Jessica Torok\, Urban Veterinary Associates\n\n\n\nThe July meeting agenda shall include a presentation on the Downtown Westmont Incentive Program.On Monday\, July 1\, 2024\, the Village of Westmont will again be accepting grant applications for the Downtown Incentive Program. The purpose of the program is to provide grants to owners of downtown properties and businesses for building renovation projects that will significantly improve properties\, enhance the viability of existing businesses\, and encourage new businesses to locate in Downtown Westmont. The program provides matching grant funding for activities such as facade improvements\, signage\, exterior accessibility improvements\, and fire suppression systems.\nAny business located within the Downtown Westmont TIF District is eligible for funding\, but priority attention will be given to businesses located in the B-1 District (primarily Cass Avenue between Naperville Road and Dallas Street) and to businesses that generate restaurant and retail sales tax.\n\nThe grant applications and additional information have been posted on the Village website via the Community Development Department - Downtown Incentive Program webpage. \n\nDOWNTOWN INCENTIVE PROGRAM INFORMATION & APPLICATIONS \n\n\n\nPrinted copies of these materials can also be picked up from the Community Development Department on the first floor of the Westmont Village Hall\, 31 W.
