DESCRIPTION:Westmont Citizen of the Year Award\n\nRequest for Nominations\n\n \n\nThe purpose of this prestigious award is to honor a Westmont citizen who by his or her actions has shown themselves to be an asset to the Village of Westmont. The citizen must be nominated for their volunteer efforts during the 2014 calendar year. The award will be presented at the Annual Westmont Chamber Community Awards Dinner. Applications may be obtained at the Westmont Park District\, 75 E. Richmond Street\, Westmont Public Library\, 428 N. Cass\, Westmont Village Hall\, 31 W. Quincy\, Westmont Centre\, One South Cass or Westmont Metra Train Station\, located at Cass and Quincy.\n\n \n\nIn order to be eligible for the award the possible winner must:\n\n \n\n\n Be nominated by an organization in town\, one of the taxing bodies\, or by another citizen\;\n Be nominated for something that was done during the 2014 Calendar year\;\n Have made a commitment of personal time that directly benefited Westmont\;\n Be a citizen inside the corporate boundaries of the Village of Westmont during the entire 2014 calendar year and when presented with the award\;\n Contribute significantly and consistently to advance the Village of Westmont\; and\,\n Have a voluntary and active role in civic and community affairs.\n\n\n \n\nThe nominator will fill out the attached application of consideration and return it to the nomination committee by noon\, February 20\, 2015.
